A strawberry born in Brest
Every strawberry in our gardens descends from a Breton accident: a Chilean plant brought back by the navigator Frézier, pollinated by a Virginian variety in the gardens of Brest.
The strawberry spreads itself by runners, which makes it easy to renew the bed each year; in Tunisia it fruits from spring until the first real heat.
