The tree of sharing in North Africa
Native to the Near East and present in North Africa since antiquity, the Fig Tree settles anywhere, even in the cracks of old walls, and tolerates the poorest soils.
Depending on the variety, it gives one or two harvests a year, the second in late summer being the most abundant and the sweetest under the Tunisian climate.
