The tree that was sent everywhere
Native to Australian riverbeds, it grows fast, very fast, and pumps enormous volumes of water: which is precisely why it was planted on every continent.
In North Africa and the Middle East it was used to dry out marshland, stabilise soil and produce firewood; that same thirst is what makes it a tree to site with judgement today.

Its roots hunt water for tens of metres: don't plant it near mains, a tank or a wall.
